Dr. Arash Salemi

Dr. Arash Salemi received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in micro- and nanoelectronics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2011 and 2017, respectively. He graduated with a B.S. in physics from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2004. He’s been a professor for Azad University, a quality control manager for Khorasan Electric Industrial Company, researched with KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Perdue University, and The Ohio State University. Currently, he is a senior design engineer with Alpha & Omega Semiconductor.
Dr. Kristen Booth

Dr. Kristen Booth received her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from North Carolina State University in 2019 and 2017, respectively. She graduated with a B.S.E. degree from Murray State University in 2015. She is an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina where she pursues her research interests in power electronics reliability and integration to power systems. Her current projects include digital twin-integrated forecasting and optimization of DC microgrids.

Dr. Minseok Kang received his Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in the Electronic Materials Engineering at Kwangwoon University in June 2015, June 2011, and June 2009 respectively. He has been an OSU ECE WBG member since 2018 pursuing his research interests of design, simulation, and reliability of wide-bandgap power devices. His current projects include the implementation of WBG devices in circuits, circuit topology, and system integreation, SiC devices, improving SiC wafers and processing for lower costs and higher reliability, and manufacturing ultra-high-voltage SiC devices.
Dr. Hema Lata Rao Maddi

Dr. Hema Lata Rao Maddi received her Ph.D. degree from IIT Bhubaneswar, India in 2018 and her M-Tech degree from MNNIT Allahabad, India in 2009. She worked as a lecturer and as an Asst. Prof. at Centurion University of Technology and Management, India. She has been an OSU ECE WBG member since Mar 2021 pursuing her research interests in the design, simulation, and reliability of SiC power devices. She is currently working on the cryogenic performance of SiC power MOSFETs.
Dr. Tianshi Liu

Tianshi Liu received his M.S. and B.S. degree in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at The Ohio State University in May 2018 and December 2015 respectively. He has been an OSU ECE WBG member since 2018 pursuing his research interests in SPICE modeling, SiC CMOS, and oxide reliability of SiC MOS devices. He is currently working on the SMART SiC Power ICs project.
