OHIO WIRED 2024

Make it a weekend with the Ohio Women in Agriculture Learning Network!  Join us on Friday, April 5th for the East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference and American National CattleWomen (ANCW) Region 1 Members Spring Meeting, and Saturday. April 6th for the Ohio Women in Ranching Education and Development (WIRED) events on the CFAES Wooster campus.

Registration for the East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference and ANCW Region 1 Meeting and WIRED event is now CLOSED.  Both opportunities are at full capacity.  No registrations will be accepted on-site the day of the program!!


FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2024

9:00 AM-4:00 PM    East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference (Shisler Conference Center)

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:  Bonnie Ayars, Ayars Family Farm and Ice Cream

The conference program features a networking fair and twenty breakout sessions presented by OSU Extension educators, producers, and partner agencies. Sessions this year are focused around five themes: Business & Marketing, Home & Family, Plants & Pollinators, Animals, and Special Interest. The conference keynote will be presented by Bonnie Ayars of Ayars Family Farm & Ice Cream. She will talk about “Perfecting the Art of Connection” from her experiences as a farm wife, mother, grandmother, dairy educator, and ice cream entrepreneur.

Ohio State ATI (CFAES Wooster Campus), OSU Extension’s Ohio Women in Agriculture Learning Network and East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference is proud to partner with the American National CattleWomen and Ohio CattleWomen to bring the WIRED Program to Ohio!

Women in Ranching Education and Development (WIRED) is a hands-on educational workshop of the ANCW that is tailored to the specific needs of women who are engaged in cattle production and the beef industry.  Each WIRED program features sessions by leading industry and local and regional experts on topics related to producing, working, and living with cattle.   The WIRED program is supported by the following national sponsors: Merck Animal Health, Multimin 90-An Axiota Company and Silencer Hydraulic Squeeze Chutes-Moly Manufacturing. Deadline for registration is March 25.
