Rainfall in Licking County and drought status

One of these days we should start getting some rain but for now most of the county is very dry.  Part of the county has been in D3  drought conditions for a couple weeks.  This morning the southern edge of the county moved into the D4 (most severe) category and half of the county is in D3.  Be sure to look at the article on federal disaster assistance for farmers in this newsletter.
