Center for HOPES Research Evaluator Saira Nawaz had the great distinction of serving on an all-star panel at this year’s AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting. Nawaz joined luminaries Rachel Hardeman (University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health), Cara James (Grantmakers in Health), and session chair Morenike Ayo-Vaughan (The Commonwealth Fund) for the panel, “Measuring Structural Racism in Health Care and Public Health”. The panel was a great success with well over 100 people in attendance and a busy post-session Q&A.
Center Research Associate Kyle Moon presented a related poster associated with the evaluation team’s work with AltaMed entitled, “Strengthening the capacity of FQHC community health worker models for data-informed community outreach”.
