The Laboratory for the Study of the Greek Language is creating in 2025 a publication series dedicated to linguistic studies on the Greek language. This series is opening through the Knowledge Bank of OSU Libraries, and electronic repository dedicated to “collecting, preserving, and distributing the intellectual output of The Ohio State University” (see https://kb.osu.edu/home).
The first item in the series, to appear in the summer of 2025, is a 3-volume work by John Kellis of Steubenville, Ohio, documenting the history, language, and culture of the village of Mesta on the island of Chios (Μεστούσικα). See the dedicated page on this website.
The second item in the series, to appear in the fall of 2025, is a collection of papers from “Greek Around the World”, a Workshop oheld at The Ohio State University under the auspices of the Greek Lab, on February 9, 2023, marking the International Day of the Greek Language.
