Calling all 8-13 year old youth to save the date for June 8-12, 2023 and join us for a 4-H Camp celebration you won’t wanna miss! Good times are sure to be had at the 2023 Fulton County 4-H Camp held at the cozy 4-H Camp Palmer in Fayette, OH.

Cost: $225 per 4-H member, $245 per non 4-H member

2023 Northwest Ohio Quality Assurance Opportunities

We’re bringing back our MANY Quality Assurance opportunities in 2023! Our Area 1 4-H Educators (Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding & Williams Counties) are working together to bring the wonderful world of Quality Assurance to you once again! Fulton County FFA teachers will also host some local trainings throughout the year that will fulfill the QA requirement–more details on those dates to come.

Please note – Horse & Dog projects do not need to attend the livestock QA session.

Horse members are expected to complete the EQUISTEP Quality Assurance.

New and returning 4-H members have until April 1, 2023 to register and select projects through 4-H Online.  We ask that you register as soon as possible in order to help with communication.  You can register by visiting v2.4honline.com.

  • All returning families have an account so please use the e-mail address and password that was used last year.
  • Forgot Password???  DO NOT CREATE A NEW PROFILE/ACCOUNT.  Call the office to have your password reset.

Winning 4-H Plan Request Form
This is an accommodation plan for 4-H members with any type of disability taking 4-H Project.

Ohio 4-H membership is based on a child’s age AND grade as of January 1 of the current calendar year. Eligibility for Cloverbud participation begins when a child is age 5 and enrolled in kindergarten. Eligibility for participation in 4-H projects and competitive events begins when a child is age 8 and in third grade. Any youth age 9 or above is eligible for project membership, regardless of grade level. A youth’s 4-H eligibility ends December 31 the year he/she turns 19.

2023 Dairy Ambassador Applications NOW AVAILABLE!

Do you have a dairy farm background, work on a dairy farm or have you taken a Junior Fair Dairy Project at the Fulton County Fair? Would you enjoy the opportunity to develop speaking and leadership skills, meet new people and learn more about the dairy industry? If so, you will want to apply for the 2023 Fulton County Dairy Ambassador.

The applicant, male or female, must be single and 16 years of age and not older than 21 as of January 1, 2023. The Dairy Ambassador will receive a cash award of $250, a one-time $1000.00 scholarship toward a second year of college and will have an exciting and rewarding year promoting and representing the dairy industry. The Dairy Ambassador will be asked to participate at various functions including the June Dairy Ice Cream Social and the Dairy Show on Labor Day at the Fulton County Fair. There are also opportunities to promote dairy at local festivals and parades.  The Dairy Ambassador will also write and record a radio spot for the local radio station(s) for June Dairy Month as well as be available for media interviews.

Applications for the 2023 Dairy Ambassador can be downloaded at the Fulton County Extension website: https://u.osu.edu/fulton4h/2023-applications-scholarships/ or picked up at the Fulton County Extension Office at 8770 State Route 108, Suite A, Wauseon, OH 43567 or call 419-337-9210. Completed applications should be returned to the Fulton County Extension Office and postmarked no later than March 24, 2023. Applicants will be interview judged and will be required to give a short speech at least 3 minutes in length on “Why I Would Like to Promote the Dairy Industry” at the Dairy Association board meeting on April 4, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at the Extension Office, Wauseon, OH.
