Function Call Glossary:

Testing Code:

Lab 1, PR&D 1 – The purpose of this code was to familiarize the team with the Arduino coding language.  The code was executed using the motor testing stand and not the real AEV.

 

Lab 2, PR&D 2: – The purpose of this code was to familiarize the team with the reflectance sensors and their importance to the success of the mission.  The team ran a reflectance sensor test and then learned how the reflectance sensors work with marks and directions.

 

Lab 3, PR&D 3: – The purpose of this code was to have the AEV perform a set of tasks and gather data.  This data was then accessed using the data extraction tool.  This was to help familiarize the team with the data extraction tools.

 

Lab 7, AR&D 1:

The purpose of this code was to test the AEV’s ability to come to a complete stop without the servo brake.  This data was then accessed and graphed using the data extraction tool.

 

Lab 8, AR&D 1 (continued):

The purpose of this code was to test the AEV’s ability to come to a complete stop using the servo brake.  This data was then accessed and graphed using the data extraction tool.

 

Lab 9, AR&D 2:

The purpose of this code was to test the AEV’s power usage over time with various weights attached to the vehicle.  The servo brake was used in these trials.  This data was then accessed and graphed using the data extraction tool.

 

Lab 10, Performance Test 1:

The purpose of this code was to complete Performance Test 1 in room 308 of Hitchcock Hall.

Lab 16, Performance Test 2:

The purpose of this code was to complete Performance Test 2 in room 224 of Hitchcock Hall.

 

Lab 22, Final Performance Test:

The purpose of this code was to complete the Final Performance Test in room 224 of Hitchcock Hall.
