To better refine the vehicle team B2 created, they ran a series of test to better optimize different aspects of the vehicle. The purpose of optimizing the vehicle was to get the vehicle as energy efficient as possible while running the whole track. To do this they decided to optimize three different aspects of the vehicle.
The first aspect that was optimization was on the design of the vehicle. They would change a small part of the vehicle to see what design had a better energy efficiency.
The second aspect that was optimized was the code of the vehicle. Once the design optimization was done team B2 created two different codes. The different codes were ran on the same design and compared to each other to see which one was more energy efficient.
The third aspect that was optimized was the energy efficiency. Team B2 would take the optimized design and code together and make little adjustment to the vehicle to make it as energy efficient as possible.
