Welcome to Team A’s Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV) Project!
Team A’s mission is to design and build the most energy efficient and safe AEV. The AEV must travel along a pre-designed track that will require the AEV to stop and wait, as wells as pick-up and return a load with a magnet. The Team’s design focuses on using the least amount of energy to complete the task, using different techniques and designs. Team A’s designs explore different ideas from each group member, each with its own positives and negatives. A combination of the two designs that save the most energy is what Team A used for our final AEV design. Within our Guided Research tab, all initial research and designing is laid out in the order they were completed. While the Focused Studies tab shows a more specific area the Team chose to dive deeper into, while other parts of the company worked on their own choices. Then vehicle optimization pushed the AEV to a finished design by focusing on different aspects of the vehicle to improve.
