Team K plans to approach the AEV design by taking into account the various parameters that the final AEV is to fall under. These primarily include weight and budgetary limits, and performance standards. First, orthogonal sketches and models of prototypes must be made, in order to ensure that they will meet material parameters before construction. Next, prototypes of each design must be constructed given the fact that the AEV can be largely deconstructed at will. After each design is completed, tests must be done to determine efficiency. Following the analysis of how efficient each AEV is, this data must be compared to the cost of the vehicle, ensuring that it still works under all requirements. These conclusions will allow small changes to be made to individual AEV prototypes to address singular problems. This process will continue until the parameters are met.
