Approach to MCR and Priorities

Approach to MCR:

Team G plans to approach the AEV design by first setting standards for the team. These generally include being respectful of time, staying germain during meetings, contributing to conversation, and completing any and all work that is designated to you. Next, the constraints for the AEV project will be taken into account; such as, budgetary limits and performance standards. Each team member will be responsible for producing designs that fit the parameters set forth and participate in discussion evaluating said designs. Each design will be tested to collect data on efficiency, so that they may be compared against one another, while also taking into consideration cost effectiveness. Finally, from these tests the team will eventually produce an AEV that is comprised of the best aspects found.

Priorities:

While there are many aspects that must be considered in creating the AEV, Team G has found that the only way to truly create an affective and efficient model is to set priorities. These include, but are not excluded to:

  • Cost effectiveness – Team G plans to get the cost as low as possible, while maximizing output.
  • Energy Efficient – Less energy used, less money spent.
  • Time Efficient – The quicker the AEV moves, the quicker citizens can get to and from their destinations.
  • Safety – None of the above would be possible if the AEV did not run smoothly and safely.

NOTE: Because, no official trials have been run nor data collected yet, Team G is unable to provide tactile, research that the AEV supports these values. The research will be updated once the trials have begun.
