Lab 5: Concept Screening and Scoring

Situation: The group must now compare their ideas and concept sketches in a concept screening and concept scoring table. This will be a way of portraying in a visual way how effective each design is, and which designs should be pursued.

Takeaways: After putting each concept through the screening and scoring process it was derived that the effectiveness of each design goes from Concept 4 being the most effective, then concept 2, concept 1, then concept 3. Concept 4 was the concept ultimately decided to be our leading design, and it is due to its net screening score of 2, and its net scoring score of 3.55, which was substantially larger than the others. It can be taken from the scores that the group will continue working with Concepts 4, 2, and 1 due to their scores in the above tables.
