Our team priorities involve:
-Communicate efficiently with the other divisions of our company.
-Stay within the assigned budget by using materials and needed power efficiently and effectivly.
-Clean up the work station after every lab to prevent budget cuts to the company.
-Follow safety procedures at all times.
-Have the AEV run with 100% accuracy on the final run.
Approach to reach goals:
First the team will set rules and guidelines with how they plan to communicate with one another and the work expected to be completed by everyone. Next the team will start to think about concept ideas and how the group will succeed in producing the most energy efficient, time efficient, cost efficient AEV they can givin the time constraints and resources. In order to determine these things, the team will complete the preliminary labs, AR&D labs, and performance tests to the best of their ability. While completing these labs the team will collect evidence such as graphs and tables that will support and back up any decisions the group had made with regards to the design and coding of the AEV for the final performance test of completing the task of taking a group of “people” from the urban dessert to Polaris, equivalent to starting at the loading dock, passing through the gate, picking up the caboose, going back through the gate, and stopping at the loading dock. While performing all the labs, the team will maintain safety and avoid fines by being aware of their surrounds at all times, following safety procedure, and making sure their station is cleaned up and as it was, if not better, than when they arrived to class.
