Date: 21-March-2018
Where: Hitchcock
Time: 11:10-12:30 (Face-to-Face)
Members Present: Madison Geiger, Malik Kamagate, Jessica Lyon, Jalen Mundy
Initiated Ideas:
-Jesse thought it would be a good idea to get to class early to do the sensor tests and get the AEV assembled in order to get the most time allotted from class to complete the performance test.
Topics Discussed:
-Figure out a code that will successfully complete performance test 1.
-Fix the stopping point of the AEV in the code from the previous day by adjusting the marks and power of the AEV.
Objective:
-Successfully completed performance test one, placing the AEV in the starting dock and pass through the gate.
To do/Action Items:
-Code for the AEV to pass through the gate after 5 seconds pass.
-Upload data from runs into MATLAB so the team members can see what the different code does for the AEV and to see which methods are the most energy efficient in completing the performance test 1.
-Start thinking about performance test 2, having to pass through the gate, connect to the caboose, and leave the loading doc.
Decisions:
-In the next lab, 3/22/18, the group will begin to work on completing performance test 2 by adding to the code that worked for completing performance test 1.
Reflections:
-The AEV is not very consistent with code, the team must calculate time in the beginning of class for adjusting the code at the beginning of each class.
Upcoming tasks:
-Complete performance test 2.
-Complete the CDR draft due on 3/24/18.
