GAA opportunity in CSSL for SP ’17
The Center for the Study of Student Life anticipates hiring a Graduate Administrative Associate (GAA) for the Spring 2017 semester. This would be a 50%, 20 hour a week appointment.
The GAA will perform the following duties:
- Aid in the design, data-gathering, and reporting of Student Life assessment projects
- Coordinate and perform quantitative and/or qualitative analyses
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Participate in staff meetings and retreats
- Complete ad hoc requests as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in education, the social sciences, public health or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Education, Statistics, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired:
- Experience in assessment-related work in a university setting
- Experience with survey development and quantitative analysis
- Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis
- Knowledge of student learning and student development theory
- Experience with survey software and statistical analysis software
- Demonstrated experience presenting data and research on student affairs topics
