GAA opportunity in CSSL for SP ’17

 

The Center for the Study of Student Life anticipates hiring a Graduate Administrative Associate (GAA) for the Spring 2017 semester. This would be a 50%, 20 hour a week appointment.

 

The GAA will perform the following duties:

  • Aid in the design, data-gathering, and reporting of Student Life assessment projects
  • Coordinate and perform quantitative and/or qualitative analyses
  • Prepare reports and presentations
  • Participate in staff meetings and retreats
  • Complete ad hoc requests as assigned

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in education, the social sciences, public health or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Education, Statistics, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Desired:

  • Experience in assessment-related work in a university setting
  • Experience with survey development and quantitative analysis
  • Experience with qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Knowledge of student learning and student development theory
  • Experience with survey software and statistical analysis software
  • Demonstrated experience presenting data and research on student affairs topics
