Research Support Series

Join us for a series of presentations and panel discussions on alternate funding sources and how to navigate changes to NIH funding. This Research Support Series will cover special topics at NIH and beyond, including navigating the Department of Defense (DOD) biomedical/clinical research funding opportunities, targeting other federal funding agencies (ex: NSF, USDA, NASA), working with industry grants and contracts, utilizing our Foundation grant office and their new searchable database, and more. Learn from faculty examples and campus experts, and be connected to resources, funding opportunities, and grant writing guidance. The Research Support Series will run approximately once a month. Research Faculty Development Committee

FAME invites faculty to apply for the FAME Research Faculty Development Committee. This committee will advise FAME leadership on mentorship, career development and advancement, and strategies to promote success for research faculty development needs at all levels.
Expectations: quarterly meetings and engagement in targeted initiatives
Eligibility: Open to faculty across all ranks and disciplines. Commitment to mentorship and faculty growth is strongly valued.
