The Center for FAME is dedicated to building a welcoming environment for all faculty members. We believe that every individual should feel respected, valued, and inspired—recognized as a vital part of our shared mission to advance medical knowledge and improve healthcare outcomes. FAME aims to foster a vibrant, collaborative community that encourages connection, supports professional development, and nurtures personal fulfillment.
Engagement Committee
FAME’s Engagement Committee fosters a welcoming and supportive environment for new College of Medicine faculty that champions professional growth and values each individual’s unique contributions. The goal of the committee is to to empower new faculty to flourish and become integral parts of our community. Examples of Engagement Committee activities include virtual and in-person meetings with new faculty, visits to department/division onboarding events, group outings to different sites in Columbus, and more. Through these activities, the Engagement Committee aims to help new faculty feel connected to the College of Medicine and the larger university community.
If your department is hosting an event or orientation for new faculty and would like someone from the Engagement Committee to attend, please send a message to FAME@osumc.edu.
