Facility Policies
Only trained and authorized users may operate the instruments. All training must be performed by the NMR facility staff. Only authorized users may access CBEC 092, CBEC 081, and EL 0031. Do not prop open these doors and do not let unauthorized persons into the lab. Untrained users may accompany a trained lab member, but are not be trained by lab members or operate the equipment.
Users may not attempt unfamiliar experiments; contact NMR staff for training.
Report any problems to the NMR manager immediately so the situation can be resolved quickly.
Follow all Scheduling Policies and Safety Policies.
Users must follow all Research Support Services policies in addition to the policies specific to the NMR facility.
NMR data is not backed up by the NMR facility staff, but rather will periodically be removed (with prior notice) in order to make space for future data. All users are responsible for archiving and removing their data from the NMR-drives.
