Emma Brzezinski

I am a Ph.D. student with research interests in bioarchaeology and bone functional adaptation. My research has taken me abroad to excavate at a medieval cemetery site in Giecz, Poland in the summer months. In the academic year, I take courses, teach Introduction to Physical Anthropology (aka “Lemurs and Femurs”),  and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers in the Skeletal Biology Research laboratory at OSU. Through my work, I hope to contribute to a greater understanding of the resilient and dynamic human skeleton and the myriad of factors that affect it.
