We are very pleased to announce Elizabeth “Liz” Hirzel has accepted the position of incoming Wood County 4-H & Youth Development Educator. Liz steps into the role on September 20th as a nearly lifelong Wood County resident, 11 year 4-H member, former WC Student Assistant, and most recent Ottawa Co 4-H Educator. In 2018 she received her bachelor’s in agriculture economics at the University of Kentucky and is in the process of finishing her Masters in Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership at The Ohio State University. Her passion and experience in camping, traditional club programming and desire to keep “making the best, better” will surely be put to use leading this strong 4-H program.
