Ohio 4-H Cloverbud Cloverbot Challenge

Attention Cloverbuds and Volunteers – In honor of the Mars Rover, this year Cloverbuds will be going to space with the challenge happening on Mars. Cloverbuds will design a place to live on the Red Planet and create a model featuring their method of transportation. The Challenge will take place virtually on Monday, July 12 or Thursday, July 22 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. We will be utilizing breakout rooms in ZOOM so that teams will have the opportunity to share their projects. With help from the Ohio 4-H Foundation, teams can order a kit to get them started. For detailed information visit the Ohio 4-H Cloverbot Challenge page:

Update on 4-H Day Camp

This week it has become clear that we have two “really popular” days for 4-H Day Camp, both on Saturdays (June 5 and 19). So that we can offer the best experience, we are working to schedule everyone on those two days and cancelling the Sunday camps. If you are one of the Sunday campers, you will be receiving a phone call to reschedule. We predict that 200 youth will be attending a Wood County 4-H Day Camp this year!! If you haven’t registered, get your forms in by Monday (preferably for June 19). We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding; it was like hitting a pinata blindfolded.
