The Wood County 4-H Camp Counselor applications for 2020 are now posted!  If you are a Freshman or older we encourage you to apply for this wonderful opportunity.  Applications are due to the Extension Office by December 9, and interviews will take place on December 18.  We are looking forward to offering the camping experience to more members this year!  If you have any questions, feel free to give the Extension Office a call at 419-354-9050.  Follow the link below for the application:

4-H Leadership Board Meeting

The 4-H Leadership Board will be having a kick-off meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Extension Office located at 639 South Dunbridge Rd. Bowling Green.  Interested in building your resume to become a 4-H Camp Counselor, 4-H Ambassador or learn more about County and State 4-H opportunities?  The 4-H Leadership Board is where you need to start!  This excited and energetic group meets throughout the year and participates in service learning projects, team building, and we have plans for exciting programs this year!At our first meeting we will begin planning activities for the 2019-2020 4-H year!  Participants will also have the opportunity to meet 4-H’ers from all corners of Wood County and take home get acquainted activities that can be used in their local clubs.
This meeting is open to any 4-H teen in grades 7th – 12th.  Please feel free to give the Extension Office a call if you have any questions.  419-354-9050.

4-H Spirit Night

The Wood County 4-H Program will be hosting 4-H Spirit Night on Wednesday, October 23 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Junior Fair Building.  Ice Cream will be served before the program starting at 6:30 pm, and yes we do have mint chocolate chip available!  We are looking forward to recognizing all of the outstanding achievements of our 4-H members.
