4-H HONOR COURT REMINDER

IMPORTANT REMINDER
Attention 4-H Teens and Volunteers – 4-H Honor Court Applications are due to the Extension Office on June 28 at 4:30 pm. This opportunity to be recognized for exceptional work in 4-H is open to teens 16-18 years of age as of 1/1/2021. The court will consist of six members who will each receive a $500 scholarship and two “Top 4-H’ers” who will both receive a $750 scholarship. Interview judging will take place in-person at the Extension Office on Monday, July 12 and the court will be announced at a special ceremony live on Facebook before the fair. This program is sponsored by the Wood County 4-H Committee and is funded with support from the 4-H Milkshake Barn.

Virtual Skill-A-Thon Reminder – Register by June 14!

Wood County Junior Fair will use this virtual event as our Skillathon contest. It will not be held in-person in ’21. Everyone must register to participate by June 14th.  Go ahead- register now to participate!

Sewing Machine Scholarship Opportunity

The Wood County 4-H Sewing Machine Scholarship is once again available in 2021! This opportunity is for 4-H members enrolled in clothing construction and quilting projects. Deadline to apply is July 24th. Applications and more information can be found on the Forms Galore page of our website:
