Here’s another cool, new 4-H SPIN (SPecial INterest) club, all about home design and decorating. It’s open to youth in grades 6-9 and will run (virtually, of course!) from August 3-19, every Monday and Wednesday. Register at go.osu.edu/homedesign4hspinclub

Today we are starting a series of postings focusing on our 4-H community clubs. Wood County is blessed with dedicated volunteers and members who continue to “make the best better” in literary any situation. We are proud of our 4-H family! Our focus today is highlighting the Blue Ribbon Rangers 4-H Club from the Eastwood area, and this year they are the largest club in the county! Our last Camp Counselor Spotlight is shining brightly today on Seth Pullins. It has been an honor to feature the young adults in our program who are dedicated to “Making the Best Better” for our campers, especially this summer. Last Chance Quality Assurance

The last chance Quality Assurance training meeting is scheduled for tonight at 6:30 pm. This session will be a 1 hour long online Zoom meeting. Youth must be present for the entirety and attendance will be taken. Please do not log on late or leave early. More than one youth can be on the Zoom meeting at a time. Video is expected unless connectivity is an issue. This training is mandatory every year by the Ohio Dept of Agriculture and is required to exhibit at the Wood County Fair. Members taking a market animal, (except dairy and beef feeders) or an animal in milk are required to participate.
