Buckeye Leadership Workshop
March 25 – 29, 2020 – Recreation Unlimited
Partial scholarships will be awarded to older 4-H members at least 16 years of age, and adult volunteers. Buckeye Leadership Workshop, held annually at Recreation Unlimited, provides sessions that strengthen participant’s leadership skills with a recreation setting. Sessions include: Dance and Games, Leadership, Team Challenge, Camp Skills, Song Leading, Photography, Quilting & Crafts and Outdoor Adventure. Ohio 4-H Conference
The 2020 Ohio 4-H Conference will take place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Saturday, March 14. This event is designed to bring together 4-H volunteers and teens from across the State of Ohio. The objective of this event is to learn together and from each other in order to improve our abilities to deliver the Ohio 4-H Program to its members. We truly believe that these educational selections offer something for everyone and can satisfy every taste and need. Nearly 150 sessions will be available to choose from!
Who: All Ohio 4-H Teens & Volunteers are welcome to attend.

Citizenship-Washington Focus
June 21 – 27, 2020 – National 4-H Center, Washington, D.C.
Two or more members will enjoy an exciting, innovative approach to citizenship education. Citizenship-Washington Focus will bring participants to the National 4-H Center for a week long experience in our Nation’s Capital. Workshops will reinforce the importance of government issues, develop a new perspective of international relations and stress personal growth and leadership skills. Delegates must be at least 16 years of age, currently enrolled in 4-H, and have completed at least one year of 4-H Club work. Leadership Washington Focus
July 27-31, 2020 – National 4-H Center, Washington, D.C.
*MUST be entering the 7th, 8th or 9th grade in the Fall of 2020*
Leadership Washington Focus (LWF) is a 4-H Leadership program for youth entering grades 7th through 9th. The program will take place at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center, just 1 mile from the Washington, D.C. border. For more than 50 years, thousands of 4-H’ers have participated in our high school program, Citizenship Washington Focus and now we are happy to introduce its precursor for middle school 4-H’ers. Interviews will be February 20, beginning at 5:30 pm.
4-H delegates will:
-Practice effective communication with others through group discussion and public speaking.
-Develop an understanding of their own personal leadership.
-Exchange ideas, and form friendships with other 4-H’ers form across the nation.
-Experience hands-on learning using the historical backdrop of Washington, D.C.

State Leadership Camp
June 1 – 5, 2020 – 4-H Camp Ohio
Four members who are outstanding in leadership and 4-H activities are selected each year. You will have the opportunity to meet with Ohio 4-H’ers and plan and participate in sessions developing your leadership skills. Recipients must be a minimum of 15 years of age, currently enrolled in 4-H, and have completed at least one year of 4-H.

Ohio 4-H Sea Camp
July 11-15, 2020
Ohio 4-H Sea Camp is back, and invites teens ages 15-17 (as of January 1, 2020) from across Ohio to “get your feet wet” as you learn about one of Ohio’s most important resources: Lake Erie! You’ll be in, on, and around the water as you explore the science of the lake. Participants will also learn marine related skills and discover the history and recreational uses of our great lake.
