2020 4-H Teen Opportunities Awards and Scholarships
Ohio Teen Leadership Council
TLC is a statewide group of 4-H teens and young 4-H alumni that provides a youth stakeholder perspective in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Ohio 4-H programming. In the process, council members develop knowledge, skills, attitudes, and aspirations needed for future success. 4-H College Scholarship Information
Several College Scholarships worth up to $1,500 each are available to 4-H members who will be a freshman at Ohio State University or Ohio’s many technical Colleges or Universities next year.
4-H members who are currently seniors in high school or above should apply (Collegiate Level Scholarships are available). For the online applications go to:

State Achievement Awards
4-H Awards are available to all 4-H members. Awards are based on a 4-H member’s achievement in a specific area. The award includes a trip to the National 4-H Congress held in Atlanta, GA. Areas include: Beef, Citizenship & Community Service, Clothing & Textiles, Dairy, Dairy Goat, Leadership, Environmental Sciences, Personal Development, Sheep, Swine, Rabbits, and Poultry. To be considered for a 4-H Achievement Award, one must complete an Ohio 4-H Achievement Record form and submit it to the Extension Office. 4-H Honor Court
The Wood County 4-H Committee will again sponsor a scholarship program to recognize outstanding achievement of 4-H members age 16 and older. This program will honor eight individuals, the top two 4-H’ers will each receive a $750 scholarship and the remaining six individuals will each be awarded a $250 scholarship. This 4-H Honor Court will be recognized throughout the year at County 4-H events. If you are interested in this program, an application form can be found on the website:
