Thanks to the efforts of many, OSU Newark as received a large grant from the National Science Foundation to enroll and support high-achieving disadvantaged students in some of the 40+ STEM majors at Ohio State. But scientists need to know how to write, too! As a co-PI, my role will be to help them read the genres of scientific communication and produce their own explanatory piece, along with helping them reflect on their internship experience.
