Professional Writing Minor begins

The Newark Campus Minor in Professional Writing is up and running.

With our first class of students making their way through the program and heading toward their capstone community internship, the Professional Writing Minor is poised to help students in any major apply their field knowledge to communication.  The minor now has hundreds of enrollees across four campuses of the Ohio State University. A recent article in Fortune explains its popularity: among people with a college degree, those in the highest quintile in writing ability earn, on average, more than three times what those with the worst writing skills make. Statistics from the US Labor Department cite technical writing as a high-growth field over the next decade.  Professional writers learn to turn what they love into a successful career.  More information on the minor at Newark (and in its parent site in Columbus) can be found HERE or by contacting me.
