  • Conducted research with a graduate student, leading to increased knowledge of proper research procedure
  • Worked in a lab setting, preparing samples and operating machinery, practicing safe laboratory performance
  • Created a poster and gave a presentation over the work done, enhancing public speaking and presentation skills

Employee (August 2019– October 2019)

  • Conversed in both English and Chinese to aid customers, practicing multilingual skills
  • Multitasked nearly every role in the shop, learning to balance many responsibilities in a high-urgency setting

  • Learned workshop meetings regarding Problem Identification, Solution Brainstorming, Customer Validation, Storytelling, Pitching, Public Speaking, Marketing Strategy, Finance, and Operation Strategy
  • All responsibilities are shared amongst group members
  • Conduct intensive research and cooperative meetings for a successful pitch in November
