Sharing Tara Oceans at a Carnegie Institute Capitol Lecture in DC
Earlier this month, I had the joy to share inspiring story of the Tara Oceans Expeditions, which seek to elucidate life and times of tiny plankton that are the engines of the world’s oceans. As part of the Carnegie Institute’s Capitol Lecture Series, I explored the “Tara Oceans Multiverse” to capture the DNA and RNA virus stories and complement stories of sailing and the expedition (Director of the Tara Ocean Foundation, Romain Trouble) and the broader scientific impact (Director of Tara Oceans, Chris Bowler).
