Our Valentine’s Mixer was held on February 14th, 2020 from 5-7pm in the Warner Platform.
On February 11th, 2020, from 6-8pm in the Warner Center, the Pride Out Loud 
organization hosted their first event of the semester: Social Hour is a time for people of all backgrounds to sit and talk. It is a time to make new friends, find a networking opportunity, or possibly find a new special person in your life. We are encouraging you to come as a group, come by yourself, either way! We’re going to laugh & smile; touching stories will be shared, and all while soft music is playing in the background. Lastly there will be FREE FOOD, so come while it’s hot. We will be having the first two rows as well as the platform reserved for this event. All are welcome and all are invited–can’t wait to see you!
Free Legal Clinic [2/8/20, 11AM – 2PM, Reese Center]
The COTC/OSU-N ERG and PrideOutLoud student group were proud to co-sponsor a Free Legal Clinic providing free legal support to LGBTQ+ Ohioans. Read more here. Co-sponsors included the Newark Ohio Pride Coalition and Equality Ohio.

LGBTQIA+ Sex Ed topics 9/24/19
Our 9/24/19 meeting featured LGBTQIA+ Sex Ed topics with Trisha Pound from our local Newark office of Equitas Health, and Zoe from Equitas Health Institute for LGBTQ Health Equity!
MILESTONE in Pride Out Loud’s History – Meetings TWICE Weekly!
During Autumn Semester 2019–for the first time ever in the organization’s history–demand for the group was so high that (in order to accommodate the variety of class & work schedules for as many interested students as possible) the group held meetings twice weekly.

PrideOutLoud’s first meeting of 2019 was Thursday, 9/5/19, from 4:15 – 5:10pm in Warner 126 (Platform). Come meet advisors Beth & Max, and special guest Dr. Rhea Debussy (they/them), Instructor at OSU-N and Acting Occupational Director of the Newark Ohio Pride Coalition. But most importantly, meet your fellow PrideOutLoud members for the new school year! Allies and friends are welcome, so bring your friends along, too!
