ALL projects (including still projects BUT excluding Market Rabbits) and classes need to be added and selected in Fair Entry by Friday, May 9th. This is NOT the same as 4-H Online. All animals should have already been entered in 4-H Online which will make this process much easier for those entering livestock projects. Please use the link below for the Fair Entry website.

We are in need of volunteers to help with Skillathon this year. We are looking for adults willing to interview our youth livestock members. If you are interested and/or willing to help (or know someone who is), please contact our office at 419-399-8225.

Do you have a passion for livestock and a commitment to excellence in your animal projects? If so, we invite you to apply for the Paulding County Junior Fair Outstanding Livestocker Contest!

What is the Outstanding Livestocker Contest?

This prestigious contest recognizes dedicated junior fair participants who have demonstrated outstanding knowledge, leadership, and responsibility in their livestock projects. It’s an opportunity to showcase your hard work, gain recognition for your efforts, and take pride in your contributions to the agricultural community.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
✅ Have at least two years of experience in an animal project
✅ Be an active participant in the Paulding County Junior Fair

To enter, complete the official application and submit it by Friday, May 2, 2025. Applications are available HERE.

4-H Online Animal Entry Deadlines

ATTENTION: Every member taking an animal project should have received at least one email by now. Listed below is the deadline for each specific animal(s) to be entered into 4-H Online.

  • Dogs – April 1st
  • All Breeding Livestock (minus rabbits) – April 5th
  • Breeding Rabbits – April 13th
  • All Market Livestock (minus rabbits) – April 14th
  • Horses – April 18th
  • Roaster Rabbits – May 6th
  • Single Fryer and Meat Pen Rabbits – May 20th

*Failing to meet these deadlines could result in those animals being ineligible to be shown at the fair*

Equine Vaccine and Coggins Clinic

There will be an Equine Vaccine and Coggins Clinic this Saturday, April 12th from 9 am – 12 pm at the Paulding County Fairgrounds. This is mandatory for horses as they will be measured for height to ensure correct classes are selected for the fair. Measurement is required on Saturday but the vaccines are not.

Are you ready to shine on stage and represent the youth of Paulding County? The 2025 Paulding County Junior Fair Prince & Princess Contest is now accepting applications!

This exciting event is a wonderful opportunity for young leaders in our community to showcase their confidence, personality, and involvement in local youth organizations. We invite all eligible children to participate and make lasting memories at the Paulding County Fair!

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 5 and 8 as of January 1, 2025.
  • Must be active in a youth organization in Paulding County (such as 4-H, Scouts, or similar programs).

Important Dates:

  • Applications Due: Friday, May 2, 2025
  • Contest Date: Monday, June 9, 2025

The Prince & Princess Contest is a beloved tradition, celebrating the bright young faces of our community. Contestants will have the chance to walk the stage, answer fun questions, and enjoy a positive, encouraging experience.
