Paulding County 4-H
4-H College Scholarship Opportunity
→ Applications are due to the Paulding County Extension Office by April 26, 2024. Applications can either be submitted electronically to the Paulding County Extension Office by the close of business on the date due, dropped off during normal business hours, or mailed to the Extension Office.
→ Applicant must be a graduating senior.
→ The funds may be used for tuition, books, or lab fees and will be made payable to the recipient or their school. Receipts are required if funds are made payable to the recipient.
→ Applicant must have been a 4-H member in Paulding County for at least four years (including the present year).
Beekeeping Class
Black Swamp Beekeepers Association is offering a 1-day class on Saturday, March 9th from 9am-5pm at the Defiance County Extension Office. Registration is due by Saturday, March 2nd.
Beekeeping Scholarship Program
Black Swamp Beekeepers Association is once again offering 3 ($1000.00) scholarships for 4-H students to apply to get into beekeeping.
The students will also receive a free ~ Beekeeping 101 Class that will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 @ 9:00 am at the Defiance County Extension Office.
Georgia Boot Trailblazer Contest
There’s still time to apply for the 2024 Georgia Boot Trailblazer Contest! Georgia Boot is looking for four enthusiastic 4-H’ers to share their 2024 project journeys with the Georgia Boot audience. Apply by March 3 for a chance to win a prize package valued at $500!

2024 Project Completion Guidelines and Fair Requirements
The 2024 4-H Project Completion Guidelines and Fair Requirements document is now available. This document lists all the requirements of Ohio and Paulding County 4-H for project completion, as well as what is needed for the Paulding County Fair.
If you still have questions about what needs to be completed for your project, page 2 of most all project books has a section that discusses what is required to complete the project.

Self-Determined Project Clinic
We will be having a Self-Determined Project Clinic at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 17th at the Paulding County Extension Office.
This clinic is for any youth doing a Self-Determined project that would like some guidance on putting together their outline and/or has any questions related to their Self-Determined project.
4-H Camp Scholarship Application
We are now accepting applications for 4-H Camp Scholarships! Please submit your application to the Paulding County Extension Office by April 12th, 2024.
*Scholarship amount is calculated based on the number of approved applications.
