With my HES peer mentor group, I went to a coffee shop called The Roosevelt on October 28th. We took a COTA bus to the Short North, where The Roosevelt is located. From the bus stop to the coffee shop, we walked about 10 minutes. We all enjoyed some delicious coffee while we had some nice conversations. We sat inside and enjoyed the homey feeling of the atmosphere. The Roosevelt had very nice seating options inside and outside that we were able to choose from. What I enjoyed the most about my experience was being able to relax in a comfortable and peaceful area. What I would do differently next time is I would bring my laptop with me so that I could work on school assignments while I am there. I will go back and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
