The Ohio Bat Working Group works to facilitate communication, information-sharing, and collaboration between people with an interest in bats throughout Ohio.

The Ohio Bat Working Group was also instrumental in writing the Ohio Bat Conservation Plan in 2018. The Ohio Bat Conservation Plan is a collaborative effort to guide bat conservation in the state of Ohio through habitat management, research, and education. Currently, various members of the working group are implementing the goals and objectives of the plan. Visit here to learn more.

NEW!! The OBWG’s Outreach and Education Committee has been working on correlating bat activities from Project EduBat and more with Ohio science standards & curriculum content. Check out the document on our Educator Resources tab, under ‘Activity Guides and Lesson Plans.’

Stay up-to-date on what the working group is doing by joining our email list. We send out only bat-related information, updates on our annual meeting, and job/educational opportunities.

Find us on Facebook @OhioBWG for more information on bats and upcoming events.
