In addition to Dupuytren’s Contracture, there are many other common hand conditions that our patients can present with to their primary care physicians with and today on MedNet, we’ll be discussing these. Joining moderator in the studio are two hand surgeons from the Ohio State University. Dr. Hisham Awan is an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery. And Dr. Kanu Goyal is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedics.

As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to: DISCUSS the clinical presentation of upper extremity compression neuropathy; DESCRIBEdiagnostic and treatment modalities for carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes ; RECOGNIZE the features of common nerve compression syndromes in the upper extremity. DISCUSS how to evaluate and treat patients with complaints of numbness and tingling in the hand and arm; and IDENTIFY the features of common tendinopathies of the hand and upper extremity. RECOGNIZE how to evaluate and treat patients with tendinopathy of the upper extremity.
