Agenda:
- Adjust the oral presentation to fit the requirements
- Discuss how all parts need to be changed to present each topic in the right manner
Summary: After reviewing the MCR, it was brought to the team’s attention that the presentation needed to be changed to discuss how the design changed over time as a result of research, instead of just discussing the research. Maycee would edit the power point and everyone would adjust their section of the presentation to describe the story of the design process. Meanwhile, updates will continue to be added to the website. The remaining sections of the CDR that need to be edited were also distributed during this time. Anna would revise the conclusion, Jake would revise the discussion, Maycee will add to the results, and Chris will revise the executive summary and appendices.

– determine what can be added to the website to complete it
Summary: The presentation was divided so that Chris would do the introduction, Maycee would do the PR&D section, Jake would do the AR&D section, and Anna would discuss the performance tests. Each member will write his/her own script to their section and it will be all put together on Monday. To finish the website, Anna will extract the data from the final performance test that was run on Thursday and put it in the Performance Test Three tab. Everyone will work on putting more detail into the website so that it is ready for the showcase.

Agenda:
- Determine what the goals are for the upcoming weeks
- Finish progress report three
- Discuss what needs adjusted on the AEV for final performance test
Summary
The team decided that the main goal for the week was completing performance test 3. It was decided that one official run should be made before Thursday. It was determined that Anna would manage the code for the AEV and organize it, Maycee would continue to work on the website and put together the progress report, Jake would create the cost spreadsheets, and Chris would record the team meeting notes. The team will communicate about the final presentation slideshow.

Agenda:
- Organize data collected in from labs
- Create Oral Presentation
- Assign individual responsibilities for website update/ presentation
- Finalize AEV design for testing
Summary
Maycee had designed the part in solid works and Chris created the power point and Anna agreed to the presentation. The team had also discussed the key points to be presented within the grant proposal. After that, the team made sure that everyone was clear on what the mission and goals of the research and development were.

Group R Meeting 05
Date/Time/Location
2/9/18
5:30 pm
Smith Lab
Attendees: Jacob Bell, Anna Goodge, Maycee Hurd, Chris Lipnicky
Agenda:
– Create model to test for motor configuration lab
-Decide the part being designed for the grant proposal
Summary:
The entire team helped to design and construct a model that would be versatile enough where changing the placement of the motors would not heavily alter the design. This is to ensure the most accurate data when it is tested in the upcoming weeks. Throughout this design process, Jake and Anna suggested that the team test out a one-wheeled design. This lead to the part that was going to be built for a grant proposal: an arm that supported one wheel and still contains the holes for the sensors.
Upcoming Tasks:
- Create presentation slide for grant proposal
- Design part in solidworks
- Prepare for committee meeting
Group R Meeting 04
Date/Time/Location
2/5/18
5:30 pm
Smith Lab
Attendees: Jacob Bell, Anna Goodge, Maycee Hurd, Chris Lipnicky
Agenda:
-Complete concept screening + scoring
-Assign remaining parts for progress report
-Discuss group concept sketch
Summary:
The team discussed the pros and cons of each other’s designs through the screening and scoring process. Jake suggested that we should change one of the success categories to cost and the rest of the group agreed. We then decided that mass and cost were the most important factors in this project. Chris drew the team concept design after it was created. Parts of the progress report were then assigned to be completed individually that night
Upcoming tasks:
- Conduct advanced research and development labs
- Build the AEV design represented in the group concept design
- Communicate with groups H + P to organize committee meeting
