Camp Life at Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp—November 15-16

Camp Life at Canter’s Cave is here! Join us November 15 & 16 at Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp. Learn skills you’ll actually use – like sewing on a button, preparing a meal, and basic car care – then kick back and relax with Ohio State Buckeyes tailgate, dance, and campfire. A weekend of life skills + camp vibes = memories made. 

Open to teens in grades 7 – 12. Register at go.osu.edu/CantersCampLife by November 1. The $40.00 registration fee includes a life skills kit to take home. Youth DO NOT need to be 4-H members to attend! 

Carving New Ideas—November 21-23

Boogie into Leadership this November at Carving New Ideas (CNI), held at 4-H Camp Ohio! CNI is a statewide camping opportunity that focuses on workforce development, future-forward thinking, and program facilitation for 4-H members in grades 8-12. Campers develop their leadership skills while making new friends from across Ohio. Held at 4-H Camp Ohio, this fall camping experience fosters new ways of thinking as older youth begin to explore their future careers and educational paths. Hosted by Collegiate 4-H at The Ohio State University, Collegiate 4-H members serve as session presenters, camp counselors, advisors, and more. Learn more and register by October 31 at go.osu.edu/cni

4-H STEM Camp

Learn about all things STEM at 4-H STEM Camp this summer! Taking place from June 29 to July 1 at Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp, youth in grades 5-7 will have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on exploration of STEM interest areas and careers. Registration is open through June 15. More information can be found at go.osu.edu/4HSTEMCamp. 

Registration for Ohio 4-H Junior Shooting Sports Camp is open now!

Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports has opened Junior Camp registration. Youth in grades 3-6 are invited to Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp from June 13 to 15 for education sessions on basic shooting and archery disciplines. Additional information about the camp can be found on the Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports website. Registration is open through May 16 and can be completed online. Camp counselors are also encouraged to apply and should do so before May 1.

This March, we’re asking you to give up the green to help support our programs here at camp by joining the 4-H Camp Palmer Kindling Club. By becoming a monthly giver, you can make a lasting impact—ensuring more youth have the opportunity to experience the magic of camp, build lifelong skills, and create unforgettable memories. Ohio 4-H Forestry and Wildlife Camp

Here you will find a flyer for Forestry and Wildlife Conservation camp, and below you will find more information and with links regarding the camp registration. The Flyer is available here as a PDF format.

        • The Forestry Wildlife Camp is open to campers in grades 7-11.
      • Registration for camp is due April 1.
      • Campers can enjoy wildlife education, fishing, hiking, tree climbing, outdoor survival, ODNR careers & college opportunities, learning about forestry and more!
      • There are no scholarships for the camp this year, so youth will need to work with their county if they need assistance with the registration fees.
      • We will also need experienced camp counselors to assist at this camp. Counselor fees will be covered with our Ohio 4-H Foundation grant funds.

Ohio 4-H State Leadership Camp

Are you interested in growing as a leader alongside your peers? Consider attending Ohio 4-H State Leadership Camp (held June 1-5 at 4-H Camp Ohio)!

This camp is a premiere leadership development opportunity that offers participants engaging sessions in topics such as motivation, communication, teamwork, and more! While at camp, participants are actively learning AND teaching their peers! This opportunity is open to Ohio 4-H members ages 14-18 – contact your county 4-H professional for more information on cost, scholarships, and registration or visit go.osu.edu/leadershipcamp for additional information! County commitment forms are due March 15 and must be submitted by county 4-H staff.

4-H Cloverbud Day Camp-Save the Date

Back for it’s 2nd year, be sure to save the date for the 4-H Camp Palmer Cloverbud Day Camp. Join us on Tuesday, July 30 9am-4pm at 4-H Camp Palmer for a full day of fun!

Cloverbud Campers will have the opportunity to learn camp songs, swim and participate in traditional 4-H camp activities.

Registration will be available June 15-July 19 at go.osu.edu/cp_cloverbudcamp. $35 per camper. A t-shirt may be added during the online registration process for an additional $10.

Open to all enrolled 4-H Cloverbuds in Allen, Auglaize, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, Williams, and Wood Counties.
