CDR Schedule & Team Meeting Notes

Note: These notes match the Team Notes for Performance Test 3 because the two events occurred the same week, and the team did not feel it was necessary to hold two meetings that week.

This week, the team met at the Hitchcock Engineering Lab on April 7th, 2017 at 7:15 PM. This location was chosen because it would allow the team to easily complete the eleventh progress report together after the meeting.

Travis Lee started the discussion by asking if anyone in the team felt the need to do the bonus video. While it would likely guarantee them an A in the class, the team members felt the video was unnecessary. Everyone had done previous bonus assignments, and everyone wanted to focus on studying for finals. Thus the team finally removed the task from its to-do list.

Next, Joseph Dandrea mentioned his progress on the online portfolio. He had written posts for every lab and promised to transfer them to the portfolio this week. He also stated that he would attempt to make the website seem more professional through aesthetics and organization.

Davin and Max then shared their progress on the oral presentation draft. The two team members had completed the slideshow and assigned each group member a set of slides based on that group member’s AEV expertise. After looking through the slideshow and speaking order, Joseph and Travis both approved of the draft. Max stated that he wanted to do a few more adjustments, but the slideshow was basically done.

Finally, Joseph brought up the need to start on the CDR. Since the CDR is a large portion of the team’s grade, Joseph felt it would be a good idea to start early. The team agreed to begin work on it after the eleventh progress report was turned in.
The team then worked on and completed the eleventh progress report.
