The team was given a project by the Rebel Alliance to create an Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV) capable of traveling a monorail network system to pick up a supply of R2 units on the other side of a planet. Since the Rebel Alliance is located on a barren planet where resources are limited, the AEV needs to be energy efficient, consistent, and cheap to produce. The AEV will have to travel a certain distance until it reaches a gate. From there, the AEV will be inspected before the gate opens. Next, the AEV will have to go pickup the cargo. The AEV will then have to approach the gate again, and again the AEV will have to wait for approval before the gate opens. Finally, the AEV will have to return the AEV to the Rebel Alliance’s base.
