Chad Brown is currently the Deputy Health Commissioner and Director of Environmental Health at the Licking County Health Department in Newark, Ohio. He is also the President and CEO of Brown & Associates Consulting, LLC, which focuses on accreditation preparation as well as quality improvement and performance management for public health departments.e ahf Chad obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Walden University. He has over 18 years of experience in public health and has worked for several local health departments in Ohio and the Ohio Department of Health. In his current duties at LCHD, Chad oversees all of the department’s Environmental Health programs and activities as well as the accreditation, quality improvement, performance management, and emergency preparedness efforts at the department. Chad lead the effort that resulted in LCHD being one of the first 22 health departments in the country to be accredited by the Public Health Accreditation Board, and he has assisted multiple health departments across the country with their accreditation efforts.
