Project Description

The Ohio Local Public Health Accreditation project will support public health accreditation and the provision of public health services. Throughout the project period (July 2016 to June 2019), CPHP staff will be working with College of Public Health faculty and additional subject matter experts to answer the following research question:

  • Identify factors that influence accreditation readiness, including local public health district size, geography, breadth of service provision, etc., and develop and study the processes that LHDs undergo to obtain accreditation.

The Primary Investigator is Dr. Andy Wapner with Dr. Pam Salsberry (research) serving as Co-Investigator. Meredith Cameron is the project lead and primary contact for the project.
