Promotion and/or tenure often require that faculty not only publish original research but also become recognized outside of our institution as subject matter experts. Often, the barrier is not the quality of the work but rather the promotion of their research. However, faculty members often find marketing their research daunting and are unsure how to begin, or what makes a research brand stand out. Common questions include: “What are the essential elements of a research brand?” or “How do I effectively market my research?” This session will demystify the process of moving from a research agenda to a recognizable research brand, providing practical tips and strategies to help you promote your educational research projects.
