About FAME

The Center for Faculty Advancement, Mentoring and Engagement (FAME) provides comprehensive faculty career development throughout all domains of an academic medical center. We develop faculty to be expert educators, leaders, mentors, superlative clinicians, and eminent scholars. We offer various programs, events, awards, and more…all designed to empower your professional growth at the College of Medicine.

Each year, the FAME team, along with our expert faculty Directors of Leadership, Teaching & Learning, Mentorship, Digital Education, and our Executive Committee, all help to design and identify our programming based on the needs of our faculty. By collaborating with industry experts, instructors, and groups from the College of Medicine, including Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) and the Office of Curriculum and Scholarship (OCS), we provide a diverse range of events and programs designed to support faculty in their professional development.
