We are thinkers, believers and doers in and about The Ohio State University. We are a student, faculty, and staff service organization committed to enhancing our university through projects. These projects either promote student welfare or the traditions (or both!) of The Ohio State University!

 

Our Mission

Ohio Staters, Inc. strives to improve the university through unique voluntary service. We help Ohio State envision its future, facilitate change, and promote its finest traditions. Ohio Staters not only provides a means to get involved in the university, but we also foster leadership skills and personal friendships that last a lifetime!

Wish Upon a Beloved Buckeye

Wish Upon a Beloved Buckeye (WUBB) seeks to install a statue to fill the need for a reflection space on campus where Buckeyes can honor their lost beloved Buckeyes. This project matters because all Buckeyes matter and no tradition is more important than the lives and stories of our students, staff, and faculty.​

It will be positioned outside of Browning Amphitheater in Mirror Lake Hollow accompanied by benches. With Ohio Staters, Inc’s largest current budget, the Buckeye leaf statue will cost almost $200,000. To feature those whose support made this possible, there will be a donor website organized by donations as follows:

$1,000: Your beloved Buckeye’s name

$2,000: Your beloved Buckeye’s name & photo

$5,000: Your beloved Buckeye’s name, photo, and a short biography

Donations of any amount are beyond appreciated (not limited to tiers) and contribute towards the success of this project.
