The Ohio State University Center for Public Health Practice (CPHP) is working with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) to support local public health accreditation and public health service delivery across the state. With funding through the Ohio Department of Higher Education, CPHP and College of Public Health faculty and staff will be working directly with Local Health Departments (LHDs) to ensure agencies have the tools and training to successfully complete accreditation requirements, as well as resources for understanding and pursuing shared services agreements.
CPHP is Ohio’s primary public health training and technical assistance provider and is part of the Great Lakes Public Health Training Center Collaborative. For more than a decade, the Center has been a leader in public health workforce development, organizational development and community-based health improvement facilitation.
