Tossed Salad

Ingredients

  • ½ lb Romaine lettuce
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bell pepper (red, green, orange or yellow)
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 small tomato
  • low-fat salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare fresh vegetables.
  2. Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces and place in a large bowl.
  3. Chop the remaining vegetables into small pieces; add to the bowl and mix.
  4. Serve with low-fat salad dressing, remembering portions of salad dressings are 1 Tablespoon, or about the size of a fingertip.
