Roasted Okra


  • frozen sliced okra (2, 12 oz bags)
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 450°F with pan inside.
  2. In a large bowl, add frozen sliced okra, vegetable oil, and salt and pepper. Stir until okra is fully coated.
  3. Remove hot pan from oven and spread okra evenly across pan.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, turning halfway to brown both sides, or until okra has reached crunchy texture.
