Ingredients:
- 5 baking apples (Rome, Granny Smith – whatever is in season)
- 2 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2/3 tsp cinnamon
- Optional toppings: non-fat vanilla yogurt, whole grain cereal
Instructions:
- Wash, peel, core, and cut apples into wedges.
- Sprinkle apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Toss to coat.
- Place apple slices in crockpot. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours, stirring halfway through cook time.
- Serve with optional fat-free vanilla yogurt and whole grain cereal.
