Simple Suppers
Simple Suppers is a family mealtimes program that operates out of Southside, Moler Elementary, and Watkins Elementary Head Start sites. It is a collaboration between The Ohio State University and The Columbus Urban League since 2018.
What do families have to say about Simple Suppers?
“The program was perfect. The kids got their understanding, the adults got ours and then we would come back and share what we learned together.”
“My kids are learning how to help at home, like making the table and cleaning up the table. It’s like, “Okay my little helper!”
“It’s really nice to have different healthy options and recipes. It helps me be more accountable for what I feed my children.”
